The End of All Wars, Isaiah chapters 1 and 2, Part 4 of 5

God will judge between the nations it says in Isaiah 2. And God will bring peace to the earth, and an end to death and decay and things running down!

Part of this is about what we often call “heaven.” It seems to speak of what we would call a earth in a new universe. Scripture repeatedly calls this “a new heavens and a new earth.

The imagery involved in this new earth is astonishing, dazzling, beyond our present earth bound minds to fully comprehend.

But also involved is the soon-to-be passing away of our present universe, IN ITS ENTIRETY! An equally daunting idea.

These subjects are discussed in more detail in my first two books, Prophecy Principles, and Revealing the Christian Age, which are available from your bookseller. Our age, and its outcomes have been revealed to us.

The Faithful City Has Become a Harlot, Isaiah chapters 1 and 2, Part 3 of 5

Harlotry is a big subject in Scripture, and Harlotry in the Old Testament Hebrew sense, includes not only women, but also men, and it includes all types of promiscuous behavior.

Also there is the Great Harlot in Scripture. She is symbolized by ancient Tyre and Sidon. She is a Religio-Commercial-Political entity which has dominated world trade, and many nations, evidently since pre-Christian times.

But God is going to relieve Himself of His enemies, and is going to restore the Jews to faithfulness in His Messiah, Rabbi Jesus of Nazareth. Scripture tells us these things will happen at some point in the Christian Age, when the Jews are in great distress.

These issues are dealt with in detail in my third book, Jewish Chronicles. The discussion there starts with how the Jews got off track from faithfulness to their God, and where this has led, and where this is going.

How Many will be Saved? Isaiah chapters 1 and 2, Part 2 o 5

It is a big question, how many will be saved?

Many will assure you that ALL will be saved, but that is NOT what Scripture teaches.

The truth is that at some point God may say to you and men, “I have had enough.”

That can have disastrous result for us. However, God does give people, even really bad people, plenty of time to turn around, plenty of time to repent, and come to God, if we will.

Isaiah 1 indeed gives us a program for life, even if we are very deeply in sin.

The Sinful Nation, Israel in the 8th century BC, Isaiah 1-2, Part 1 of 5

Israel and Judah were very lawless and sinful in the 8th century BC, that is to say in the prophet Isaiah’s time. There was much worship of false god, much violence and personal revenge, and only the most superficial sorts of worship of the living God.

They, like many of us, “knew” many things which are false, but did not REALLY know the living and true God.
